An idiosyncratic and highly original combination of travelogue, memoir, and history, "In Patagonia" is the book on which Chatwin's reputation rests. Patagonia is a remote and unique land and seems particularly suited to Chatwin's impressionistic and episodic style. A classic of travel literature. Includes some of Chatwin's photographs. Chatwin died in 1989.
