Cute start to a series, made we want to read more.

I'm only half-way done this book, but I can't seem to put it down. This story is told in Mary Jane's (M.J's) perspective, and it's fun to see a book written in such a sassy and witty way. Though, there are a few sexual scenes in this book, however very mild, I would recommend it to teens 14 and up.

M.J. is a ghostbuster, but not like those guys from the 80’s with the funny laser backpacks. She has an office and is hired just like any person, then she goes to the place where the ghost is residing and helps them deliver a message or whatever they want so they can move on. But occasionally she comes across a spirit that was helped a little too early to move on. These are fun mysteries with a little quirkyness thrown in. Victoria Laurie also has another series starting with Abby Cooper, psychic eye: A psychic eye mystery. Staff picks 2008
